Know about the Effects of Mobile Phone on Kids

With the changing tradition and fashion, many people are using mobile phone not only for the communication purpose, but also for many purposes like to listen to music any time, to take photos and also to access internet. Using mobile has no age limit. Right from parents to kids everybody needs it. Many parents give their mobile phones to their children and keep it near them most of the times. There many advantages from the mobile phones as well as many disadvantages. It is very much harmful to human health and causes many health problems.

The mobile phones have very dangerous effects on kids. It harms their health and disturbs their studies. There is another bad effect of cell phone usage to kids, which is due to the usage of mobile phone by a women during pregnancy period. If they use mobile phones during pregnancy, it will effect both mother as well as child. Many studies and researches have found that, the women who did use mobile phone during pregnancy were 54 percent more likely to have children with behavioral problems and it will increase with the amount of potential exposure to the radiation. And if the children use the mobile phone later, they were 80 percent more likely to suffer from with the behavioral problems.

The sleep deprivation syndrome has been associated with the cell phone usage in the children. Many children's use mobile phones to send text messages to their friends overnights. Due to this they will get sleep deprivation. The director of the Oakland California Public Health Institute's Center for Research on Adolescent Health and Development explains that sleep deprivation can cause problems with mental acuity, mood stability and hyperactivity.

Many youngsters use their mobile phone while there are in driving. Few research studies discovered that around 40 percent of the teens use their mobile phone in driving. This can cause many accidents.

The National Research Center for Women and Families article, named "Can Cell Phones Harm Our Health?" explores the connection between cell phone use and brain cancer. The article cites a study published in 2008 in Physics, Medicine and Biology, that “the brains of children under 8 absorb twice radiation from cell phones as adult brains.”
