How to Choose High Quality Nightwear

People tend to ignore the quality of night wear since we generally use them for night times. In fact, they are the essential things which are required to be taken care of to have a comfortable night sleep. Many go with the price of the fabric, if it is of higher cost we tend to feel that, they are the best. In fact it is not. Following are the different parameters on which the quality of the night wear depends on.
  • Fabric: The physical thing which we can see from night wear is the fabric used in it. The fabric should be of good quality. Whatever may be the type of fibre used like the cotton, silk, linen, wool and polyester, the fabric should be cut and sewn on the grain. Patterns and stripes should match all over the garment. They should not run against each other. Grab the fabric at the seams with both hand. Gently pull it. If the threads comes out more easily they are not sewn properly.
  • Seams and Hems: For a high quality garment the edges of the seams and the hems are always sewn straight. They are never left raw. So observe this quality in the fabric. More over the seams of the high quality fabric are at least two inches wide so that they can be altered easily.
  • Buttons and hooks: If the night wear do have any fasteners like fancy buttons, hooks, laces and so on make sure that they are sewn securely. The button holes of the quality fabrics are often bound with high quality thread for durability. Check whether the zippers are moving freely.
  • Lining: Few night suits do have some fabric lining if the original fabric is much transparent. In such case make sure that the quality of the lining is good and is properly sewn all over the fabric.
These are the few things which needed to be taken care in order to get a high quality night wear.
