How to Keep Clothes from Getting Wrinkled While Traveling?

Keeping packed dresses in a good shape and wrinkle free clothes are necessary throughout your journey because you may not be able to clean and iron at your destination.

Here are helpful tips to keep your clothes wrinkle free when traveling:
  • While packing your luggage bag, do not overload clothes with too many items because friction that is generated causes wrinkles on the clothes.
  • Select clothes that are wrinkle resistant and pack it. Here choose the clothes made from fabrics that don't wrinkle easily, like polyester and nylon.
  • Instead of flat traditional folding of the clothes, you roll the clothes and pack in a suitcase. The clothes which don’t require any iron can be rolled instead of folding.
  • The travel bag which you have selected also plays an important role in avoiding the wrinkled clothing. If you have selected the bag which is loose and the items in your bag are shifting from one place to the, your clothes are wrinkled. So, choose the appropriate bag which is having separate partitions to keep different items.
  • Never try to pack the heavy items on the top of the clothes which are packed inside the suitcase. These items will crush the clothes. So, pack heavy items in the bottom of the suitcase.
  • The clothes which required to be hung will be kept separately in each plastic bag. It will prevent the formation of wrinkles.
  • First fill the larger items in the luggage bag and then fill the smaller items like socks, undergarments, hand kerchiefs etc., in the empty spaces between the larger clothing’s so that clothing will not move.
  • Suppose you are staying in the hotel, and then fill the spray bottle with the water. Then hang the wrinkled clothes and spray this water on the wrinkles and slightly brush it for some time. Let them dry overnight. The wrinkles will be disappeared.
