Workers should have awareness about the safety issues and ability to handle those issues. For that, worker should have proper training to work safely at work place. Workers should identify the general issues regarding safety and health issues at workplace. Once a worker identifies the issues, it is important to communicate the information to a supervisor. Then, the supervisor will take an action to prevent the incidents. Workers should train to handle machinery with out any accidents. To keep workplace environment safe, employers need to provide proper training to workers. Training list includes

a. Safety Programs:

First thing that workers should know is, their goals. Traditional Safety Incentive Programs have been designed to be passive in nature, that is rewards are based on number of accidents over a period of time. This leads to non-reporting. Then why not reward people for attitudes, activities, and behaviors that produce the desired changes in our safety culture?. Safety Incentive Programs are only valuable if they motivate people to become proactive with their attitudes, activities, and behaviors regarding their safety and the safety of their fellow workers.

b. Leadership:
Changes has to start with the Leaders. By knowing about all managerial skills, leaders perform well and they motivate other workers. Leaders at all levels must actively promote the program. Leader should have certain qualities to manage effectively. They should also have positive personal attitudes about safety. Their own actions and behavior also tell the quality of leadership. To manage effectively, leaders should learn about leadership skills.

c. Employees:

All employees need to know that they have the power to make changes. So they should do the work which will create safe workplace, like workers following the safety work practices. Always employees need to feel confident that they know what needs to be done and how to do it. They need to have a personal reason to get involved. The design process needs to include considerable employee involvement. So employees also learn safety work practices.

d. E-Learning:

Interactive e-learning is ideal for training large number of people situated at different locations and at different points in their training cycle. It is not similar to regular class learning. The training can be taken anywhere, any time of the day or week. Interactive e-learning does not require an instructor. Interactive e-learning is an interactive "one-on-one" tutor that draws the student into the learning process.

By adapting the above learning list, one can easily create a safe work environment.
